05 diciembre Still Here . . .Yes, Sunday was my 21st birthday and yes I had a wonderful time. I was hoping to get to my blog yesterday to write all about it, but so much of my day was spent running errands and decorating for Christmas.
Unfortunately, I have sprained my wrist somehow and to type would be a very slow and painful process. Tomorrow is Josh's birthday and I do have a slight something planned, so hopefully I will be available to tell you about that AND my birthday experience on Thursday. Plus, I have pictures of our tree and WILL have more of the gingerbread house if it ever gets made.
Thanks to everyone who has signed my guestbook, I feel so special that you would take the time to visit my page and find me worthy of knowing you were here. Please cross your fingers in hopes that my wrist will not be severely damaged -- it's not incredibly bad at the moment, I just cannot use a couple fingers and my thumb of my left hand.
The good news is that I'm right handed, so I can still take notes in my training sessions all week. The bad news is that it has taken me way too long to type this post with my left hand without any major mistakes and I am giving up . . . 24 mayo Difficult Times
(Ash writes:) My lack of attention to this blog has not been entirely on purpose. Josh and I were out of town last week for an emergency, and this week I have been extremely busy catching up on everything I missed here at work while I was gone.
Josh's sister was killed in a car accident in the early morning of May 13th. We were asked by his family to be there before and after her memorial service, so we rushed to Josh's hometown as quickly as we could. The whole event is very saddening, and we are still grieving the loss of such a beautiful young woman. I won't be going into much detail over the incident. We would greatly appreciate it if everyone would stop and say a prayer for God to be with Jessica's soul and for the family she left behind to get through this difficult time.
I will be back into the swing of things by tomorrow, I'm sure, with plenty of updates. Thank you for checking in. |
